In exactly a month from now we will be starting a new year, another 365 days to fulfil hopes and expectations! Being slightly obsessed with organisation I feel the need to plan ahead, to take notes of my ideas so that they don’t slip away and I can make the most of them. Ana Ribeiro from Arte e Luar Bookbinding makes the most wonderful diaries and notebooks! I really like the combination of fabrics with the practicality of their design. And they make the most wonderful gifts, lovely and practical – the only problem is to choose between all the favourites.

Christmas is just around the corner and I thought of making a small tutorial for a Christmas tree. It is quite simple and I think it can also be made by little ones (as long as they have some help). … Continue reading →

I found out about Laura Jacquemond and her work through Etsy. Her winged insects immediately caught my attention with their colours and textures. She has a wonderful ability to combine fabrics and to piece them together forming delicate creatures. I … Continue reading →

Days are getting smaller and when I go out the air feels crisp. I love Autumnal landscapes, the subtle changes of colour in the trees and watching the birds flying south, covering the skies in organized “V” shaped patterns. It … Continue reading →
